Venue Policies

All guests are subject to bag searches and security screening, which may vary depending on artist or management requirements. Please visit our Security & Bag Policy page for details and more information on our Clear Bag Policy. 

To keep things quick and contactless, we're cashless! All concessions and merch stands accept credit cards, debit cards and mobile pay. Only have cash? Not a problem - you can convert it dollar for dollar, with no fees, to a prepaid debit card at the main merchandise stand inside the venue at the bottom of the Gate 2 ramp. 

All children age 2 and under are allowed in for free.

We recommend keeping an eye on our socials for day of show updates and important information. 

Ticke holders will enter through Gate 1 at the intersection of Cabarrus and McDowell St. If Gate 1 is closed, Fast Lane entry will move to Gate 2 at the intersection of McDowell and Lenoir St.

Identification is not required to enter the venue.

Lawn chairs are available for rent in advance or on site, while supplies last. We recommend preordering to guarantee one for the show. To preorder, click the link here. Please note that personal lawn chairs are not allowed inside the venue. 

Overnight camping is not allowed. If you plan to line up during the day, be sure to bring water and sunscreen, as shade is limited. Please note that restrooms are not available until doors open. 

Select shows will have a General Admission Pit. The pit will be standing room only. Please note this area is sectioned off and does not have seats. 

Re-entry is not permitted. Make sure you bring everything you'll need before entering the venue. Guests who leave the venue will need a new ticket to return.

Cameras with detachable lenses, video and audio recording devices, and drones are not permitted inside the venue. The policy on non-professional cameras varies depending on the tour's preference. 

Smoking is not permitted inside the venue. A smoking section is available outside of Gate 4. Please note this section closes before the show ends and is not an exit of the venue. 

Red Hat Amphitheater is apart of the Sip N' Stroll Downtown Social District.

• Sip N' Stroll drinks may be purchased here. Drink Responsibly - be 21.
• Outside beverages are not allowed in Red Hat Amphitheater.
• Alcoholic beverages must:
  • Only be in designated social district containers.
  • Only be possessed and consumed during the days and hours set by the City:
    • Seven days a week from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
• A single patron cannot be sold or delivered alcoholic beverage drinks in excess of:
  • Not more than two alcoholic beverage drinks at one time if any of the following: Beer or Wine.
  • Not more than one alcoholic beverage at one time if an alcoholic beverage drink contains liquor.
• A person must dispose of any alcoholic beverage before exiting the social district unless entering a business within the social district that allows alcoholic beverages to be brought inside the business.

Located at the Red Hat Amphitheater Box Office for picking up tickets the night of the show and is open on show days, 2-9 PM
