Widespread Panic and Wilco announced!
September of this year at the Red Hat Amphitheater will be nothing short of epic. Can you handle it? Don’t panic but prepare yourself for Widespread Panic’s 25thAnniversary Tour coming downtown for a two day concert! On September 23rdand 24ththis American rock band from Athens, Georgia will be supplying everyone with nonstop ear candy. Their unique style of music has influenced southern rock, blues, funk and hard rock genres. Widespread Panic frequently has been compared to legendary bands, the Grateful Dead and Phish. And for those of you who prefer more of an alternative rock county with a folk twist will be ecstatic to hear that Wilco is coming downtown on September 27th.This alternative rock band from Chicago, Illinois is a two time Grammy Award winner for their fifth studio album, A Ghost Is Born. Not that September needs more things to make it epic at the downtown Red Hat Amphitheater, the day of the concert will also be the release date of Wilco’s newest anticipated album, The Whole Love.
